Apparently Aptera did make an impression on Cybernews as the host included it in the first day's highlights. I did peruse the comments and f you're an Aptera supporter, what you want to do is give a comment about the Aptera. Otherwise, he'll figure not one cared and that is something you don't want a news guy thinking.

AOC winds down the first day at CES
Aptera Owners Club came back to the booth at dusk and got some interesting images of Aptera's lighting scheme including the direction signals in operation. Actually, the photos were a bit confusing to me in that I couldn't tell if the 'amber' light that I saw emanating from the "smile" light - the one that goes the full width of the passenger capsule originated there through a shift in the otherwise 'white light' smile or if all the glow and tone change was just the effect of the amber beam on the wheel pant.
It makes sense the 'edges on the smile bar' would be activated as a turn signal in addition to the wheel pant directional. Why? It is possible the vehicle would be operated with out the formal wheel pant and while a fender with a light could replace the pant to keep down rain spray, that panel operating seemed good. (But I'm still not certain it wasn't just the reflection.)

Just saw this video and it answers the question. It is of the PI2 'vehicle in which they're giving rides coming back to let someone off.
And yes, you can see the right part of the smile light on the main cockpit flashing notice of a right hand exit from the street.

Here is another 'hot spot'
Seems the old mirror trick method of boosting light with a mirror worked for this guy.

In the video, Chris mentioned that CNN and Car and Driver were on the schedule to ride in the Aptera. We're looking for those 'takes'.
The video also confirms the blinker scheme where the smile edges on the front light bar blink amber to signal a turn.

I felt bad, I went through almost all the video before I realized that it was a 360-degree view and I could actually look around. Silly me It was really cool, though, when Raj put the camera out the window. It almost looked like a drone shot
